Book Review: "Everyone Communicates, Few Connect" by John Maxwell

November 03, 2010

The new book by John C. Maxwell, "Everyone Communicates, Few Connect", is another great leadership manual of how to connect with other people in the correct way. This book follows along with the same principles as others by Maxwell, i.e., it's all about other people, go beyond the words, it is more skill than talent, connect on common ground, etc.

What I like about this book is that Maxwell uses a multitude of examples -- from famous names to the unknown -- to illustrate how these principles work.  In addition, Maxwell writes in layman's language that is easy for anyone to understand and digest. I would highly recommend this book to anyone in any vocation or situation, from the career person to the stay at home parent.
