Book Review: "Max on Life" by Max Lucado

May 04, 2011

This review needs to be prefaced by saying, "Is there ANY Max Lucado book that wouldn't get a positive review?"

Just like other Max Lucado books, this one was great. But unlike other books by Max, this one is a topical, question/answer like format. It covers so many of the questions that we have about God, marriage, family, hope, hurt, and even the afterlife.  Max gives his straightforward yet graceful answers to questions, backed with appropriate Scripture.

I would recommend this book for anyone -- whether you are a Christian far along the journey or someone who is just beginning their walk with Christ.  This is easily a "go-to" book to keep on the bookshelf -- there are handy topical and Scripture indexes at the back of the book for easy reference.
